My First Breakfast at Sacramento Black Bear Diner

All I can say is ...... WOW!

I had my first "Breakfast Experience" at the brand new Black Bear Diner Sacramento Natomas, which is just steps from the front lobby of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Sacramento Airport Natomas!

I ordered a Club Omelette.  The menu states that this omelette is "chock full of turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, and diced tomatoes.  It's as good in an omelette as it is in a sandwich!"

The plate this omelette arrived on was absolutely HUGE.  Alongside the very large omelette, was a very, very healthy portion of hash browns and one of their freshly made biscuits.

Everyone who knows me, understands that I with-hold cheese from everything I eat, except pizza.  I overlooked that the menu included cheese.

When this breakfast arrived, and I dug in.........I was overwhelmingly amazed.  Much better than a club sandwich.....without any doubt.  And this was with the cheese!!!

I highly encourage you to come by the Black Bear Diner at 2700 El Centro Road.  This is at Interstate 80 and West El Camino near the Fairfield Inn & Suites and the Sacramento 49er Truck Plaza.

New Sign - Coming Soon

The work on the new freeway sign for the Tomato Patch area businesses is under way.  The new sign will have the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Black Bear Diner, Chevron, and Burger King on the new sign.  The previous sign was for Chevron and Burger King, and had been in disrepair for a couple years due to a some tough winter storms.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites is approaching it's five-year anniversary later this month.  The Black Bear Diner is scheduled to open for business September 21.
